Peer Review Process

The first step in registering a new article in the journal system is to create a user account or enter it by the corresponding author. After entering the system, it is necessary to enter the article information, including Persian and English titles, as well as the names of the authors. It is worth mentioning that the order of the authors in the journal system and the text of the article must match. After uploading the copyright form and the article files, the article will be given to the esteemed editor-in-chief of the publication and the initial technical review will be done in terms of compliance with the framework of the publication as well as non-overlapping with articles printed in domestic and foreign journals. After this stage, the process of reviewing and investigating the article will be started and the results of the review will be sent to the author of the article via e-mail. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the decision on the article will be made based on the opinions of the reviews and the summary of the members of the editorial board.

All articles are evaluated by known referees, and the faster the authors respond to the corrections requested by the referees, the shorter the time to determine the status of the articles. The type of review of the publication is "Single Blind Peer Review" and the comments of the reviewers in the review of the articles are considered completely confidential and the authors will consider the questions and requests of the reviewers anonymously with the names of "Reviewer 1" and "Reviewer 2" etc.

It should be noted that according to the commitment of the editor-in-chief of Science and Technology in Mechanical Engineering, the total period of reviewing and making a final decision on the article is a maximum of 4 months, provided that the respected authors respond to the reviewers' comments and the revised article within the stipulated time.
